The Great American Beer Festival (GABF) is not just about sampling quality beer, it’s also the largest commercial beer competition in the world. In 2013, 4,809 entries were judged by 201 beer experts from 11 countries, with assistance from more than 130 competition volunteers.
More than 250 medals were awarded to some of the best commercial breweries in the United States. These medals that are recognized around the world as symbols of brewing excellence, and are among the most coveted in the industry and heralded by the winning brewers in their national advertising.
