Media & Fans are first to taste this new beer being released exclusively in Colorado and California
WHAT: The Bruery, a 5 year old, award winning, boutique brewery based out of Orange County, CA, held a homebrew contest earlier this year to determine a beer to be brewed as their 1000th batch – the winners were Brian Pramov and Bryan Keas, two homebrewers from Denver, CO. Their beer, dubbed Bryeian, is a dark, hoppy rye ale that has now been brewed with their help and is ready for distribution by The Bruery, exclusively throughout Colorado and California and will be The Bruery’s Pro-Am entry into the Great American Beer Festival in October.
WHO: Brian Pramov and Bryan Keas are local homebrewers turned homebrew heroes as their small batch of beer has now been brewed by The Bruery for distribution. Both Brian & Bryan flew out to California in July to help transform their recipe into a large scale release and they, along with Benjamin Weiss, The Bruery’s Director of Marketing, will be busy enjoying a few pints and shaking hands as the beer is released in Denver.
OPPORTUNITIES: Media is invited to join The Bruery and the winning homebrewers and enjoy in the release festivities. Special media opportunities include:
- Chat with the winning homebrewers: Learn from the homebrewers themselves, the story of their creation, how the first batch was brewed, and what their experiences were when they traveled to California to recreate the beer on a grander scale.
- Deepen your knowledge of The Bruery: Chat with Benjamin Weiss, The Bruery’s Director of Marketing, about the history of The Bruery, their large barrel aging program and what life has been like for this small brewery that recently celebrated their 5th anniversary.
- Enjoy a great lineup of special beers: Seven different, often hard to find beers, will be on draft at the event including the first tapping of Bryeian and a special tapping of White Chocolate.
- Meet local craft beer fanatics: Spend time amongst Denver’s biggest craft beer fanatics and get to know what makes them tick.
