Brattleboro, Vermont – The team at Whetstone Craft Beers are excited to announce a new partnership with Craft Vermont, expanding Whetstone beers beyond their own brewpub. Having recently opened a brand new 15-barrel production brewhouse up the road from their waterfront restaurant and nano-brewery, they are now capable of producing enough beer to be sent all over the state of Vermont. Before teaming up with Craft, the only place you could enjoy fresh Whetstone beer was at the Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery on 36 Bridge St. in Brattleboro, VT. The first keg pick-up from Craft occurred mid-February and their beer will be available at other fine pubs and restaurants fairly soon. With ten different beer styles available, Whetstone is offering a variety of craft beers for your enjoyment and both inside and outside of the Whetstone Station restaurant and brewery. The brewery at Bridge Street continues to brew up smaller batch offerings as well and has transitioned to a more experimental brewing space. Recently the brewers at Whetstone have run several small batch experiments referred to as the “Third Rail” series. In each case the same beer was finished 3 different ways and guests were asked to select their favorite. “It’s great to finally have some flexibility to be able to do fun projects like this again” says co-founder Tim Brady, “in the past we were struggling to keep up with our general production demand, this expansion has reinvigorated the creativity we were founded on.” Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery is located right on the Connecticut River in downtown Brattleboro Vermont. The location features picturesque indoor and outdoor seating, a full restaurant serving “inspired pub fare” as well as two full bars and an open air, rooftop biergarten. All of this in a beautiful, waterfront location.
The craft brewery at Whetstone Station produces small batches of unique beers, including their award winning flagship “Whetstoner” Session IPA and Big ’Stoner Double IPA. Their beers are showcased alongside a large and constantly rotating guest craft beer list, including many hard to find favorites.
The restaurant, biergarten, and bar are open 7 days, year round, from 11:30am until 10pm. Their production brewery hosts monthly tours and tastings on the first Friday of each month during Gallery Walk.
