This year’s 7th annual Brewing up a Cure event will take place on Saturday October 12th from 7pm-10pm, with a VIP session prior to the event from 6pm-7pm. We are pleased to have the PPG Wintergarden as our home for another year. Last year’s event was a tremendous success and we look forward to an even better event this year. Tickets for this year’s event are available NOW!

Last year’s event sold out so make sure to get your ticket as early as possible! Brewing up a Cure started as a way for the members of Three Rivers Underground Brewers (T.R.U.B.) to both promote homebrewing and to support a cause that was close to all of their hearts. A member of the club, has a daughter who was born with Cystic Fibrosis. With this in mind, the original intent of the event was to provide an enjoyable evening of homebrewed beer tasting and to donate whatever proceeds were made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

In this the seventh  year, the event has definitely surpassed those original goals. The event now features well over 75 different homebrewed beers made by various club members, as well as beers from great microbreweries such as , Stone Brewing, Erie Brewing, Lancaster and Pittsburgh’s own East End Brewing Company and Arsenal Cider House. In addition to all of the great beer, there is a ton of great food from local eateries, great live music, and some fabulous auction items to bid on. The event has grown to 650 attendees, and the donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has grown to over $142,000
