Badger State Brewing Company Wins Silver Medal at New York International Beer Competition

GREEN BAY – April 3, 2014 – Badger State Brewing Co. has been awarded a Silver Medal for its Walloon Witbier in the Belgian Style Witbier category at the 3rd Annual New York International Beer Competition held Feb. 9 in New York City.

The New York International Beer Competition evaluates the world’s best beer with a hand-selected panel of A-list and trade only judges with purchasing power and the ability to impact sales, which includes beer buyers, beer retail owners, restaurant and bar proprietors, beer distributors and importers. In the 2014 competition, close to 400 beers and ciders from more than 20 countries were submitted to be critiqued and less than 35 percent of submissions won a medal.
