Beer Geeks, the Emmy-nominated television series about the world of craft beer, is coming to the web on digital streaming service Ora.TV beginning September 18th. “We’re responding to a groundswell of requests from craft beer fans to make the show available everywhere at every time, not just in certain television markets once a week,” said Executive Producer David Page.

Ora.TV will roll out a new episode every Wednesday at 3pm Eastern Time, but once released, all episodes will remain available online 24/7.

Beer Geeks crisscrosses the country, taking viewers on a voyeuristic road trip into the heart of the craft beer universe, featuring the making of unique beers at a different brewery in each episode, searching out often-unusual ingredients for beer, cooking with beer and pairing beer with food.

Beer Geeks is a love letter to the entire craft beer world – from brewing with thousand degree rocks at Port Brewing and the Lost Abbey in California, to sampling barrels of the world’s most powerful beer, Utopias, at Sam Adams in Boston, to making cactus beer at North by Northwest Restaurant and Brewery in Austin, Texas, and on and on. And enjoying it all with craft beer lovers at every brewery we visit. Some of the other breweries in the series include Hair of the Dog, Stone, Avery,  Odell, Rogue, and Harpoon.

Beer Geeks was created by Executive Producers Roberta Brackman and David Page, previously best known for creating the Food Network hit Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Host and Master Brewer Michael Ferguson, known by many in the craft beer world as Mufassa, is a pioneer and leading figure in craft beer.

Says Page, “What makes Beer Geeks unique is our reverence for the world of craft beer. The beers are great. The people are great. It’s all factual and true. We don’t use the world of beer as a background for just another TV show. We celebrate this special world in a way that captivates beer fanatics and entertainingly draws in the broader audience as well.”

Beer Geeks premieres on http://www.ora.tv Sept.18 at 3pm ET.
