September 22, 2014 – Priding themselves on creating the highest quality they can, Door County Brewing Company is thrilled to announce their partnership with La Crosse Beverage, one of the leading Wisconsin beverage distributors.
“There are a lot of reasons why it is a great partnership,” said Dan Graziano of La Crosse Beverage. “First of all, the brands and the liquid are both very solid. We think that quality is number one in this market. Everyone on our team that was able to sample the product was very impressed with the offerings that Door County had. That is the first thing that is really important to us, and why we think it will work.”
In partnering with La Crosse Beverage, the one-of-a-kind Door County Brewing Co. beers will now be available in Buffalo, Jackson, La Crosse, Monroe, Trempealeau, and Vernon.
“Our taste buds out here in Western Wisconsin are better than you think, we do notice the difference between good beer and beer that might need a little work, so that’s a good thing.” Graziano mused. He went on to explain how the people of Wisconsin “see Door County as a great place, a great experience, and a great destination.” Which then creates an unforgettable association. “You also have great art and you have a great angle as a brewery that I think is really cool. People notice it, and it looks really sharp on the shelves,” said Graziano.
“We are proud to partner with La Crosse Beverage because of their focus on local Wisconsin Craft Beer brands in Western Wisconsin,” said Door County Brewing Co. President John McMahon. “ It’s also perfect timing. We just released our Silurian Milk Stout on September 5th which is our 6th brand release.”
John McMahon sees the Silurian Milk Stout as the “perfect beer to introduce Door County Brewing Co. to the Western Wisconsin market in the fall.” As the newest edition to the Door County Brewing Co. family the Silurian Stout is sure to be an instant classic. The Silurian Stout is brewed with chocolate and dark malts, lactose sugar and a hint of coffee. Ruling land and sea, this legendary creamy milk stout is unlike anything of our time.
Graziano intends to launch Door County Brewing Co. within La Crosse Beverage with a simple and strategic plan. He explains that, “We want to focus on accounts where they are going to appreciate new craft beers coming in first.” Graziano is hopeful that people will see the brand and associate Door County Brewing Co. beers with their fond memories of the area. “I see people connecting the brand with that great time they had, and so they are willing to try the brand, and they are happy with the product once they do.” He accounts these notions create “a neat scenario for us here at La Crosse and in the La Crosse market.”
A father and sons operation, Door County Brewing Co. is located in Baileys Harbor, WI and is now committed to distributing our thoughtfully handcrafted, heritage inspired beers all over Western Wisconsin with La Crosse Beverage.
