Collaboration is a driving force and passion for us at Upland Brew Co and it doesn’t get much better than working with other innovative brewers to create a one of a kind beer. Last year we joined forces with our hearty northern friends at Jolly Pumpkin and created two unique beers featuring Indiana persimmons and Dragonfruit: Permission Slip and Persimmon Ship.
To celebrate our collaboration, Upland Brewing Co. will host a Jolly Pumpkin Collaboration Party on February 12th, at 6:30 – 8:30pm. We will be closing off our new second bar area for mingling and tasting! You will be able to taste both collaborations side by side and Upland Brewers will be on site to talk about the collaboration and both of the brews. We will also be offering tours of our sour brewing facility.
For the first time ever we will have Jolly Pumpkin guest taps, with pints for purchase. Jolly Pumpkin taps include: Fuego del Otono, a fall-inspired sour ale, brewed with hints of spice with delicate caramel malt flavors, and a Smoked Gose, a German-style sour ale that originated in Goslar, Germany with lemon tartness provided by lactic acid producing microorganisms. The party starts at 6:30pm; we’ll see you there! Cheers!
