DUE SOUTH AND TAP 42 ARE TEAMING UP FOR ANOTHER EPIC TAKEOVER.
Hopheads and Beer geeks listen up; you’ve never seen these beers, and you may never see them again. Tap 42 is at it again with another Epic Takeover. It’s a new year, and on Tuesday, February 17th, beginning when the doors open at 11:30am, Due South Brewing will be ready to show up and show off!
Due South is the sleeping giant of South Florida and is constantly recognized as one of the best breweries in the state. They’re known for brewing their beer #thehardway, and have won multiple Florida Beer Championship Medals in categories across the board, including the 2014 Best Large Brewery in Florida award. Now, Due South is mixing its creative juices with the Tap42 team to put on an Epic event, where Due South will share some award winning classics and introduce some very special, brand new beers that will flow all day long from every one of Tap42’s 42+ taps.
When we say special, we’re talking award-winning beers including the Mariana Trench Imperial Stout, Oaked Category 5 IPA, and Mexican Standoff Chocolate Chili Spiced Porter. When we say new, we mean rare one-offs like the Coconut Calling All Cars, Kevin’s Bacon, and Barrel Aged versions of all your favorites including Mexican Standoff and Mariana Trench. Careful, you’re drooling.
Oh! We almost forgot the best part; Beer Cheese and Pretzels! You’ve asked, and now with the help of local pretzel shop, Philly Pretzel Heaven, you’ll get the perfect compliment to a day of craft beer drinking: warm, delicious pretzels served with Due South Category 3 IPA cheese dip that Tap42’s talented chefs have hand-crafted.
