Dual Bottle Release: Batch #50 & Blueberry Petite Sour
At 6:00 p.m. Crooked Stave will release two new beers at its taproom: Batch #50 and Blueberry Petite Sour.
Batch #50 (6.0% ABV), Grand Cru Wild Ale aged for 22 months in Wine Barrels, will be a taproom-only bottle release with only 100 total cases produced. Brewed in June of 2013, Batch #50 is a blend of some of Crooked Stave’s oldest barrels, some of which had Colorado peaches added in late 2013.
Blueberry Petite Sour (5.5% ABV) will be available in bottles and on draft during the release on Wednesday, May 13. The 2015 batch of Blueberry Petite Sour received the equivalent of over a pound per gallon of blueberries, after being primary fermented in oak with Crooked Stave’s mixed culture of wild yeast and bacteria.
Thursday, May 14th

For the first time, Crooked Stave will tap a firkin at its taproom! This specialty beer, affectionately named, Cuvée de Cobbler, is a Golden Sour aged with Peaches, Vanilla Bean, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg. Firkin pours will begin at 6:00 p.m.
