Chapel-Hill Based Brewery Launched Limited Edition “Sky Pink” Golden Ale to Raise Funds & Awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October
Check Presentation Ceremony To Be Held on Tuesday, November 10th, at 12PM
For Immediate Release—Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Carolina Brewery raised awareness and funds in support of Susan G. Komen®’s North Carolina Triangle to the Coast division by transforming its popular “Sky Blue Golden Ale” into “Sky Pink Golden Ale.” Carolina Brewery hosted events throughout the month to benefit Komen NCTC, including an Oktoberfest 5k run. Sky Pink cans were available in limited-edition six-packs with pink can tops, courtesy of PakTech®, at restaurants and retail locations throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.
Carolina Brewery will host a check presentation ceremony at their Chapel Hill Brewpub (460 West Franklin Street) on Tuesday, November 10th at 12pm. Pam Kohn, Executive Director at Komen NCTC, and Robert Poitras, Owner at Carolina Brewery, will be in attendance and available for interviews.
Cofounded in 1995 by Robert Poitras, Carolina Brewery is a North Carolina institution with two brewpub locations in Chapel Hill and Pittsboro, each serving fresh, made-from-scratch entrees using local ingredients.
