Beer festival showcases the growth of the Denver craft beer community
DENVER – Nov. 6, 2015 – In the spirit of the holiday season, the Denver Beer Festivus brings beer, a jolly crowd, music, airing of grievances, a shiny Festivus pole together to create one heck of a celebration. The fourth annual Denver [only] Beer Festivus will take place on December 13th from 2:00 – 5:30pm at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum (7711 E Academy Blvd #1, Denver CO 80230).
“The continued growth of Denver’s small and independent brewers illustrates the demand and love of beer our community has,” said PJ Hoberman of Imbibe Events. “The beer scene in our city is so diverse that while competition does exist, each brewery must create a unique experience and high quality beer in order to succeed.”
Denver is home to more than 60 breweries. In 2013, Imbibe Events hosted the first Denver Beer Festivus with 18 breweries to fill a void in the winter beer festival calendar. This year’s Festivus will have more than 40 participating breweries. In order to participate in Festivus, breweries must have a Denver address. The current lineup for Festivus 2015 includes:
