Schnitz Brewery & Pub, Jasper, Indiana, will host the first annual Schnitz Fest. The fest will take place on the pub’s outdoor patio from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM on May 13 and May 14 featuring an outdoor beer garden and live entertainment.
“Our flagship Schnitz Brewery Beers will be on tap” said co-owner, Alan Hanselman. “We’ll have all our great brews along with other craft beers.”
Live entertainment Friday will begin at 7:00 PM with Ed Rodimel’s1 Man Monster. Rodimel is 1 man with an acoustic guitar, keyboard, cajon drum, a few mics and a Boomerang Ill looper. 1 Man Monster sounds like a full band- everything is played and “looped” live, with no pre-recording.
Saturday afternoon will feature Debbie Schuetter, popular local guitarist and songwriter, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Freestyle will take over Saturday evening from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The band is considered one of Southern Indiana’s hottest classic rock bands. Band members are Phil Schwenk, Jerry Nichols, Roy Rohrscheib, and Brett Stenftenageel
“Schnitz Fest will kick off our “2016 Summer of Schnitz!” said Hanselman. “There’s a lot more to come!”
Schnitz Brewery and Pub was founded in 2015. It is located in Jasper, Indiana below the KlubHaus61 Event Center and is home to the Schnitz Brewery, brewers of craft beer including Schnitz Blonde, Schnitz Hefe Wheat, Schnitz IPA and Schnitz Porter as well as frequent seasonal offerings.
