The Chicagos.Beer site has been in public beta for about two months now. We’ve seen over 4,500 unique visitors to the site, signed up dozens of breweries and have over 260 locations listed across the state of Illinois. We’ve gotten a lot of great feedback from people. We’ve also fixed some bugs. There is however, as you may know, a great deal of amazing craft breweries outside of this state. That means it’s time we take things to the next level.
We’re taking Chicagos.Beer and rebranding it in July. The new name will be more inclusive and give us the ability to expand to more states and get more people involved in the search for that next amazing brew. It’s going to work much like our current site but have updates like bookmarking favorite breweries, social login options and more.
BreweryFinder.org is planned to launch on July 4. It will include all of the Illinois breweries already listed on our current site and all of the breweries in Wisconsin!
