August 8, 2016 – The North American Guild of Beer Writers (NAGBW) announces its 4th annual competition for writers, bloggers, authors and broadcasters — now underway. The 2016 NAGBW Awards accepts entries Mon., August 8 – Mon., August 22.
The NAGBW Awards honor the best beer and brewing industry coverage in ten categories. Please note the new categories and their descriptions.
With the formation of the NAGBW and an annual writing competition, the Guild aims to broaden the conversation about beer and brewing, raise the standards of writing, provide leadership and continuing education for practitioners of our profession, while also encouraging and supporting more participation throughout all media channels.
Deadline to apply: Mon., August 22, 2016
Entries published between July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016 are eligible.

ABOUT THE NORTH AMERICAN GUILD OF BEER WRITERS – The new Guild has members from USA, Canada, United Kingdom and Costa Rica. Guild membership is open to all writers and content producers who cover beer and brewing, although industry and associate memberships are both non-voting categories.
