Las Vegas, NV – CraftHaus Brewery launches a new beer style, Southwest IPA. Brewed as a declaration to their Southwestern home, it is aptly named Mojave. The use of indigenous, organic Agave syrup dries out the beer, just like the majestic deserts of the Southwest. Mojave, Southwest IPA is the newest release in CraftHaus’ seasonal IPA series.

“With the hype spreading about Northeast IPAs, we saw a need to produce a beer style that represented our unique landscape, Wyndee Forrest, Co owner, CraftHaus Brewery. Our territory createsBeer Styles fantastic, quality beers and this beer style is our testament that the Southwest should be viewed as a national player in the craft beer industry.”

The can design, by Dana Satterwhite of Quiver Media, represents the uniqueness of the Southwest desert. The can artwork incorporates the deep orange colors seen in local rock formations. The print carries icons of the desert, Agave plants, lizards and cactus. This is the first can to proudly display the Brewer’s Association Independent seal.

Mojave, SWIPA is an appreciation to the resilience of the Southwest community. The deliberate use of Southwest named hops, Amarillo and El Dorado gives the beer a juicy nose and a slight white pepper finish. Crisp, refreshing and clear, Mojave sits at 50 International Bittering Units and 6% Alcohol By Volume. Mojave, SWIPA is distributed in Clark County, Nevada by Bonanza Beverage and available in 12 ounce, six-pack cans as well as on draft for a limited time.
