Seneca Falls, NY – Fleur De Lis Brew Works, Seneca Falls only brewery announces their first anniversary celebration May 19. The brewery will mark the occasion with special beer releases, local vendors, and music. The brewery dedicates the day to the community who has supported Fleur De Lis Brew Works over the last year. The anniversary is during American Craft Beer Week.
The brewery opened its doors May 20, 2017 to much fanfare. The four partners continue to enjoy the growth and success of the brewery. Beth Partee, Partner and Craft Beer Parlour Manager, states “we accomplished so much in our first year of business. We want to thank all who have contributed to our success. Over the last year I have poured so many pints and flights of delicious beers. I hope our supporters relish the warmth and hospitality.”
Fleur De Lis Brew Works released over 50 beers using NY hops and malt. Several offerings were one-offs for special events or festivals such as Aveline Amour a hazelnut porter.
The anniversary special release is “All in the Family,” a braggot brewed with massive amounts of local honey. Jon Paul Partee, Partner and Head Brewer states “the sweetness of the honey balanc
es the hop bitterness. It’s truly a special beer, worthy of our anniversary celebration.” He continues “The honey brings the ABV to over 8.5%; the beer has aged over six months to smooth any alcohol bite.”
In addition to All in the Family, Fleur De Lis Brew Works will have summer favorite Uncle Nit’s Wit as part of its 12 tap lineup. The wheat based beer has a light citrus note making it perfect for the summer.
Loyal customers may join the 2018 mug club. With the purchase of a 20 ounce commemorative mug, patrons receive discounts all year long.
American Craft Beer Week (ACBW) is a national celebration of small and independent breweries across the US. Jennifer Partee, Partner and Media & Marketing Manager expands “ACBW is a great opportunity for us to showcase our unique beer to the greater area. Celebrating our anniversary is a perfect fit with the mission of the week. We are happy to share it with breweries throughout the country.”
Families are invited to join the celebration in Seneca Falls. The brewery is currently open three days a week (Friday 3-7, Saturday 12-7 and Sunday 12-6) with days and hours expanding as the weather warms up. The anniversary celebration May 19 runs 11-9 pm.
Local favorite, Anything & Everything will play two sets from 1-4 pm and 6-9 pm.
Tonzi’s Catering, voted the best food truck in NYS, shares in the revelry. Service starts at noon.
