Lakewood, CO – As Winter finally begins to fade in Colorado, four West Denver craft breweries join forces and develop the 1st official “West Side Brewery Bike Loop.” The loop will kick off on Saturday, April 28th beginning at WestFax Brewing Company and will subsequently take place the last Saturday of every month through September. The 6.7 mile loop developed by Ginny Mason, 
Cartographer, is a safely laid out route for cyclist to casually bike around the area and enjoy discounted pints while stopping at all four breweries along the way. Attendees will receive a punch card day-of from any participating brewery’s taproom. This punch card offers $1 off a pint once “punched” at each brewery. After the punch card is completed (by cyclists finishing the loop), it is also valid for 1 free pint at any of the four breweries any date after the ride. The official guided loop launch point starts at WestFax Brewing on W. Colfax Ave. at noon and then rolls to Joyride, Hogshead, and Seedstock. Join the official guided loop with a group of friendly cyclists at WestFax, or start the loop on your own at your nearest participating taproom using the mapped out route. There will also be beer and schwag giveaways for participants along the way at the different taprooms.
The breweries encourage bikers to go in groups (especially if starting from a non-official spot) and to be sure that they have the appropriate safety equipment (helmets, reflectors, lights) and that their bikes are in safe working condition. It is also strongly advised to be aware of your alcohol intake and to stay safe while on your bike and on the roads. Brian Haitz, Marketing & Operations Manager from WestFax, states “Biking a loop like this has been something my wife and I have enjoyed on our own the past few years.
