THE STORY
When the teams from Tennessee Brew Works and George Dickel first sat down for drinks in 2016, they enjoyed good conversation, craft beers and handmade Tennessee whisky. A year later, the Tennessee neighbors partnered to brew a Belgian Style Quadrupel, aging the beer in George Dickel barrels. This summer, the two Tennessee brands join forces once again to release the 2018 Vintage TENN NO. 12 Belgian Style Quad aged in George Dickel No 12 barrels.
TASTING NOTES
ABV: 10% IBU: 35 APPEARANCE: A deep and rich mahogany ale AROMA: Toffee, plum and subtle tobacco notes from the barrel TASTE: Caramel and toffee, fig and ripe plum, balanced by subtle oak with a dry finish
LAUNCH DETAILS
The 2018 Vintage TENN NO. 12 Belgian Style Quad aged in George Dickel barrels will be available in 22 oz. bottles for purchase at 11 a.m. CST on Saturday, August 25th in the Tennessee Brew Works Taproom. The Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. will also be featuring the beer at the next Porch Sessions with Lucie Silvas on Saturday, Sept. 8th. Fans can purchase tickets at dickelporchsessions.com.
The TENN. NO. 12 Imperial Porter aged in George Dickel No 12 barrels will be available in November.
