Brewery signs with family of Chicagoland distributors
February 7, 2013 – Kansas City – In an agreement set to take effect this week, Boulevard Brewing Company is transitioning its brands to the “Chicago Cluster,” the OneIllinois network of nine distributors covering all of Greater Chicago. The wholesalers will sell the brewery’s core lineup of beers as well as its critically acclaimed Smokestack Series.
Boulevard first introduced a handful of its brands to Chicago in 2010, when it appointed distributor Fox Deluxe. “Fox Deluxe did a great job placing our beers in craft-centric accounts,” said Boulevard VP of Sales Steve Mills, “but demand has grown to the point that a bigger, stronger and broader distribution network is now clearly appropriate.”
As announced last month, industry veteran Jim DeBolt has accepted the position of Regional Sales Manager, and will represent Boulevard throughout Greater Chicago.
