Inspired by a strawberry lemonade vibe, and described as a “strawberry, yuzu smashup,” STREWZü (sounds like [strew-zoo]) is a fruited berliner weisse fermented with strawberries and yuzu at 3.6% ABV. Brewed as a collaboration between Georgia-based Beer Guys Radio and Reformation Brewery, the beer is a small batch, brewery only release available in 16oz canned 4-packs beginning Saturday, Nov 3rd.
A draft only preview of the release debuted at the grand opening of Reformation’s new location in downtown Woodstock, a 6,000-square-foot, five-barrel brewhouse dedicated to research and development. The brewery hopes this is the first of more community beer collaborations to come.
“Our brewers are really looking forward to brewing up some fun new experiments at the workshop,” says CEO, Spencer Nix. “And bringing the community in for collaboration is a key part of that story. Beer Guys Radio has been really devoted to the Georgia beer community, and it’s truly our pleasure to have them in on this collaboration with us.”
