Beer and Donuts! Fiction Beer Company’s 5th annual collaboration with Glazed and Confuzed Doughnuts brings you our most unique offering yet. A Sweet Potato Pie Specialty Ale designed side by side 
with an all new doughnut from Glazed and Confuzed. The base beer was designed as an homage to our favorite breakfast pastry with toasty bready Maris Otter malt and oats. Topping our doughnut base are 180 pounds of Okinawa Purple Sweet Potatoes, 25 pounds of marshmallows, brown sugar and a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg.
The doughnut designed by Glazed and Confuzed will use the same ingredients. The release will feature a pairing of the 7.2% ABV purple hued libation with the Okinawa Sweet Potato Pie donut.
The beer will be available on draft and in a limited number of custom Donut Panic crowlers will be available for purchase. The doughnuts will be available at Fiction Beer Company on Saturday Dec. 22nd as well as at Glazed and Confuzed locations.
Donut Panic is a unique beer that releases the Saturday before Christmas each year. The recipe changes annually and is designed to utilize the same flavors as the corresponding doughnut. Prior versions include Vanilla, Strawberry, Confuzed Samoa, and Chai-apple.
