Astrid Cook

Astrid Cook began her journalism career covering technology for a daily newspaper. Writing about the then nascent “World Wide Web,” she received both Golden Quill (The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania) and Keystone Awards before moving into marketing communications. While working on her first novel, she discovered craft beer and thus began writing about another nascent industry. As a member of the North American Guild of Beer Writers, she has judged beer writing across the globe. Her work has appeared both online and in print at All About Beer Magazine, West Coaster (San Diego), Complex.com and BrooklynBeerBitch.com.
