Small breweries are small businesses that give back to communities in big ways. In 2016, craft brewers donated more than $73 million to charitable causes, according to the latest data from the Brewers Association, publishers of CraftBeer.com.
Giving goes beyond donations, too. In 2017, time and time again, we saw breweries join together to support their communities — and each other — after natural disasters like Hurricane Harvey’s historic flooding in Houston and the wildfires that devastated California’s Wine Country.
