The beer community has had a tremendous response to Sierra Nevada’s call for help after one of California’s deadliest natural disasters in recorded history impacted its community. And now, the brewery is announcing another way you can help with the recovery.

This Tuesday, Nov. 27, was brew day for the widely anticipated Resilience Butte County Proud IPA, a beer that will see 100 percent of the profits go to help the Sierra Nevada community after the Camp Fire Wildfire killed 88 people and destroyed more than 13,000 homes. As of this week, more than 1,000 breweries in the U.S. and worldwide have signed on to brew and release Resilience IPA in their own communities to raise money.

The number of breweries making Resilience IPA is staggering and Sierra Nevada created a map that pinpoints those participating breweries.

“We are so very thankful for the tremendous amount of support and compassion shown to our community,” the brewery said in a tweet. “With this help we know we are on a path to healing and rebuilding.”

Sierra Nevada is putting the wildfire relief beer on a fast track and will release it by late December. But this week, the California brewery announced it’s also taking orders for a Resilience IPA t-shirt. The brewery says every dollar it receives from sales of the shirt will go directly to the Camp Fire Relief Fund.

You can check out the shirt and pre-order it at the brewery’s online gift shop.

Stay tuned as CraftBeer.com continues to show you ways you can help the brewery revive its community.
