Coronado Brewing Company’s Punk’In Drublic Is Back!

Share Post

San Diego, CA – August 12, 2016 – It might feel like summer, but autumn is in the air with Coronado Brewing Company’s highly anticipated autumn release, Punk’In Drublic. Part of the ‘Crown Series’ seasonal offerings, Punk’In Drublic Imperial Pumpkin Ale is crafted to stand out from your garden variety pumpkin beer. “We brewed Punk’In Drublic to be a bigger, bolder version of a pumpkin beer. The higher alcohol content adds a warming complexity that really enhances the blend of spices we use,” says Ryan Brooks, Head Brewer, Coronado Brewing.

Since it’s inception three years ago, Punk’In Drublic has garnered fans near and wide for its bold use of spices and real pumpkin. “We use real pumpkin puree—one pound per barrel of beer—as well as cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, brown sugar, and honey. The final result isn’t too sweet, and reminds you of the best parts of the season,” says Brooks.

Punk’In Drublic is now hitting shelves in the company’s new rebranded packaging, in 12oz 6-packs, 22oz bottles, and on draft. Visit www.coronadobrewing.com/punkin-drublic to find the beer near you. Stay coastal. Cheers.

About Coronado Brewing Company

In 1996, when craft beer was still a foreign term and San Diego County was home to only a handful of breweries, the Chapman brothers Ron and Rick opened a brewpub in their hometown of Coronado. Today CBC stays true to their San Diego roots, brewing abundantly hoppy West Coast-style ales, which are available today in 18 US states and twelve countries. In addition to the long-established pub in Coronado, the company opened a tasting room inside their newly built San Diego production facility in early 2013, and a tasting room and restaurant in Imperial Beach, California in 2014. Coronado Brewing Company was honored in 2014 with one of the brewing industry’s most prestigious awards—World Beer Cup Champion Brewery and Brewmaster for a Mid-size Brewing Company.
