Portland, OR – Laurelwood Brewing Co. is introducing a new twenty-two-ounce bottle in the marketplace starting the month of February. The new line will feature our seasonal Pale Ale spun from the Portland Pale Project. The first installment of the “Pub Series” is the Winter Pale Ale. It has a deep rich color with roasted caramel notes. A relatively dry finish complements the bright pine and lush fruit aromas. Designed to celebrate winter and warm your hearth. Staying true to the pale ale category, the Alcohol By Volume comes in at 5.8% and has an International Bittering Unit of 55. Hops used are Simcoe, Amarillo and Chinook.
“The Pub Series will replace the beloved Free Range Red in twenty-two-ounce bottles. With the introduction of the Red in six packs, we wanted the ability to showcase a new line that encompasses the creativity of the brewers here at Laurelwood,” said Micah Bell, Director of Marketing & Sales. Bell also said, “We feel that this new line diversifies what we offer as a brewery in the marketplace and exposes the consumer to another great beer from us.”
You can find this Pale Ale in stores starting mid-February and on tap at Laurelwood pub locations.
