Payette Brewing Company is approaching their sixth anniversary, is brewing in two facilities, has grown in staff and distribution areas. That said, there is more room for continued innovation. Payette’s canned beer is great to take along on all your adventures; hiking, rafting or skiing, to name a few. What Payette was missing? A larger bottle of beer with a higher ABV that can be cracked open as post-adventure pleasure.
Payette Brewing Company announces their two new twenty-two ounce bottle series, Serendipity: Imperial IPA Series coming this month, and Aura: Sour Ale Series coming this April. The beers in the two series will rotate. For example, Serendipity Series release No. 1 will be first, followed by Aura Series release No. 1, then Serendipity Series No. 2, then Aura Series No. 2, and so on.
Payette’s Marketing and Art Director, Paige Coyle, describes them as this, “Our Imperial India Pale Ale Series is the culmination of bold collaboration. We didn’t just wait for a stroke of serendipity to happen; we made our own luck. Through the integration of cutting-edge techniques and curiously exceptional ingredients, our brewers arrived at these amusing IPAs. Look for remarkable new flavors to be released throughout the year in twenty-two-ounce bottles and draft. Serendipity Imperial India Pale Ale Series—a fortunate happenstance.
Every beer in the Aura Sour Series radiates a unique personality. Some are expected. Some are exotic. And some exude comforting qualities that defy explanation. This series is brewed using live cultures, giving the beers complex characteristics with an aura of flavor about them that retains amusing, tart flavors. Look for enticing new flavors to be released throughout the year in twenty-two-ounce bottles and draft. Aura Kettle Sour Series—curiosity gone right.”
First up – Serendipity Series No. 1: One in the Chamber Imperial IPA. Dubbed “dangerously drinkable” by Payette’s Head Brewer, One in the Chamber packs some serious hop flavor. Enjoy the explosion of citrusy-orange aromas courtesy of Amarillo hops. Landing at 9.7% ABV and 90 IBU, it’s a hefty beer; available on draft and in twenty-two ounce bottles this February. Stay tuned for the first Aura release shortly after.
Payette Brewing Company is thrilled to introduce these twenty-two ounce bottles in to their year-round rotation and hopes everyone enjoys them as much as the brew crew enjoys brewing them.
