Freewheel, Magnolia and ThirstyBear Brewing Companies celebrate American Craft Beer Week, May 12-18, by serving each other’s traditional, cask-conditioned ales. Cask-conditioned ales are traditional beers that undergo dry hopping and a secondary fermentation in the cask – a firkin – to produce a naturally carbonated, deliciously smooth beer. To heighten the natural flavors of the beer, cask-conditioned ale is served at cellar temperature without the use of pressurized CO2 gas. #TriCaskAle for #ACBW !

Post your favorite picture on Instagram or Facebook of cask ale taken at each of the three breweries during American Craft Beer Week (May 12-18). You must include #TriCaskAle and #ACBW with the post! The person who gets the most “likes” for their pictures wins a complimentary tee shirt from Freewheel, Magnolia and ThirstyBear. We will also award a Brewers’ Choice prize of a tee shirt from each brewery to the Instagram or Facebook posting we like the best.
