In early February, Triple Rock Brewery brewers Jeff and Mike won big at The Bistro Double IPA Fest, taking home Gold in the Triple IPA category for Nod-N-Smile and Bronze in the Double IPA category for Hop Salad.
In honor of these awards and Triple Rock Brewery’s 32nd year of crafting delicious Berkeley brews, we’re hosting a happy hour brewer’s bash on Wednesday, 3/14 from 5-8pm. Join us in raising a pint (or several) to over three decades of fresh beer and brewing innovation. This will be your last opportunity to taste these award-winning, SF Beer Week-exclusive IPAs, as we only have half a barrel remaining of each! They WILL run out and when they’re gone, they’re gone so get here early!!
Also debuting at the party is Stoney Rock, a 7.3% IPA brewed with Simcoe, Mosaic, Citrus and Eureka hops. In a nod to the opening year of 1986, Executive Chef Taylor Smith has reimagined a Triple Rock favorite: The Avalanche. Priced at $19.86, the new “Triple 30” is a giant baked potato stuffed with three chili cheese burgers, smothered in cheddar cheese and topped with slaw, lime crema and beer fondue. If you can finish one all by yourself, you may want to question some aspects of your life… Or you’re super awesome.
This event is free and open to the public, no tickets necessary. Come enjoy Stoney Rock at the peak of freshness and help us say goodbye to Hop Salad and Nod-N-Smile until next year!
