Adirondack Brewery Expands Distribution to Long Island, NY

Lake George, NY – September 10, 2013 – The Adirondack Brewery is eager to announce that their newest distribution partner, Clare Rose, Inc, on Long Island, will be supplying both Nassau and Suffolk counties with their locally brewed New York State beer starting September 23rd.

The Adirondack Brewery, located in the Village of Lake George, currently has full distribution in 25 counties in New York, as far west as Syracuse, with self-distribution in the metro-NY area. Adding these 2 counties, in addition to the growth in existing territories will put the Adirondack Brewery’s annual output to 10,000 barrels by 2015. This brewery is well know for their very drinkable, session beers, Bear Naked Ale, Dirty Blond Ale & Beaver Tail Brown Ale, which are all proudly brewed and packaged at 33 Canada Street in Lake George.

Brewery owner, John Carr was pragmatic regarding the expansion of his brand and decided to “jump on this opportunity with Clare Rose because of the enthusiasm, experience and drive of their craft beer sales staff and the focused concentration of the market they’re in.”  He added, “We’re excited to join the other New York State breweries that they have done a great job building.”  Sales and Marketing Manager, Laura Stevens said, “During the 15 years that we’ve been brewing, we have heard repeated requests from Long Island visitors for our beer to make it to ‘The Island.’  We are excited to bring a piece of the Adirondack’s to them.”

Clare Rose, Inc. is a third generation business that has been owned and operated by the Rose family for 75 years, servicing Long Island, with locations in Melville and East Yaphank.  They boast an 11 million case-per-year distributorship, with their leading suppliers being Anheuser-Busch InBev and Heineken USA. They also partner with three of the main Long Island craft breweries, as well as various regional breweries and carry an extensive portfolio.
