Buellton, California— Californian gourmet chocolate purveyor, Stafford’s Famous Chocolates, recently launched two new delicious creations aimed at adults using beer from Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company. With the incorporation of their award-winning Davy Brown Ale, Stafford’s Chocolates created two different six-piece boxes. The first box includes two-pieces each of Davy Brown Ale Milk and Dark Chocolate Truffles and Davy Brown Ale Chocolate-Covered Salted Caramels. The second box includes only the caramels.
“We are excited to be partnering with our favorite brewery,” says Vice President of Marketing at Stafford’s Chocolates, Benjamin Taylor. “The combination of our caramel and chocolates with their Davy Brown Ale blends terrific flavors of chocolate, coffee, bitterness, and sweetness. Each confection is hand-crafted and hand-dipped one by one, giving them a unique homemade look. This really is a match made in heaven. We can’t wait for everyone to try them!”
FigMtnBrew and Stafford’s Chocolates recently paired up to offer similar beer chocolates in the taprooms for Valentine’s Day and sold out within an hour. Due to the high demand, FigMtnBrew is offering a pre-sale option for customers to ensure availability for Mother’s Day. Order your chocolates in advance from April 30 through May 7, 2015 at www.figmtnbrew.com/chocolates for $12.00 per six-piece box. From May 8 through May 10, 2015, FigMtnBrew will also be selling limited quantities in each taproom for $15.00 per six-piece box. One-pound and half-pound boxes will also be available online only via Stafford’s online store. Ordering in advance is highly recommended.
Looking forward, we plan to have our beer chocolates available for the following holidays: Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Specialty beer truffle flavors will be available throughout the year.
