Breweries, Bars and Beer Food to film pilot at Deschutes Brewery

The filming for the pilot episode of Breweries, Bars and Beer Food will take place this week at Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon.

Breweries, Bars and Beer Food is a new show about craft beer, great food, the people who brew it and cook it and everyone who loves both!

The show will take viewers behind the scenes of breweries, showing them the brewing process and introducing them to the men and women who make the beers that they love.We will also have amazing chefs, local to the featured brewery, share great recipes and the cooking process along with the best beer pairings.  These recipes will be available to the viewers on the website after the show airs.

According to Brewers Association statistics, there are over 95 million beer lovers in America.  Craft beer growth in 2012 was 15% by volume and 17% by dollars  continuing a staggering growth model as compared to the overall economy.

Cooking shows are also growing in popularity.  The Food Network saw growth of over 20% in 2011 with a nightly average of 1.1 million total viewers ranging in age from 25-54 .

By combining beer, food and travel in one show, Breweries Bars and Beer Food brings together three things that Americans are passionate about.
