Cape May Brewery took home the People’s Choice Award last weekend at the 10th Annual Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival, the second largest beer fest in the nation, where the company poured four brews: Coastal Evacuation, Apple Bomb, Turtle Gut, and Devil’s Reach.
“Jersey’s making some good freaking beer,” said festival producer Jon Henderson. “And I think Cape May Brewing Company is making the most creative brews. They’re coming out with consistently good styles.”
The honor comes on the heels of CMB’s recognition last month by the New York International Beer Competition as New Jersey’s Brewery of the Year for 2015, and brings the 2015 award count up to six.
