San Diego Beer Week is almost here, and Coronado Brewing Company is ready to go with a full calendar of events. The company has dozens of beer happenings planned throughout San Diego County, including beer dinners, tap takeovers, pint nights, and two hosted events at its main brewery in Bay Park. “We look forward to San Diego Beer Week each year and we’ve brewed a ton of specialty beers to showcase at key events,” says Ryan Brooks, Brewmaster, Coronado Brewing Company. “I’m especially excited for people to try our new Guava Islander IPA, North Island IPA, and some of the small-batch brews from our pub on Coronado.”
The company is debuting two new events at its main brewery; the first event is Milled, Chilled & Jelly Filled—a beer, donut, and coffee pairing event on Saturday, November 5. Coronado partnered with Nomad Donuts to create a custom flight of mini donuts paired with special releases, including Early Bird Mocha Stout—a milk stout made with cold-brew from neighboring Bird Rock Roasters. $20 gets you five mini donuts and five, 5oz beer pairings; no tickets required.
The second hosted event is BYOBib—a seafood boil and beer event on Friday, November 11. Local food truck favorite, Big Front Door, will be onsite preparing an authentic seafood boil to be paired with custom beer flights and pints. Bibs will be provided and guests are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and dive into pots of seafood spread out on butcher-paper lined communal tables. No tickets are required; beer and seafood boil available for purchase from 5pm-closing.
Coronado Brewing is also participating in several events throughout the county, including San Diego Brewers Guild two capstone events: San Diego Brewers Guild Festival and The Beer Garden at the Lodge at Torrey Pines. The company will also host a keep-the-glass pint night at its Coronado Pub starting this Friday.
