Dual Bottle Release: Batch #50 & Blueberry Petite Sour

At 6:00 p.m. Crooked Stave will release two new beers at its taproom: Batch #50 and Blueberry Petite Sour.

Batch #50 (6.0% ABV), Grand Cru Wild Ale aged for 22 months in Wine Barrels, will be a taproom-only bottle release with only 100 total cases produced. Brewed in June of 2013, Batch #50 is a blend of some of Crooked Stave’s oldest barrels, some of which had Colorado peaches added in late 2013.

Blueberry Petite Sour (5.5% ABV) will be available in bottles and on draft during the release on Wednesday, May 13. The 2015 batch of Blueberry Petite Sour received the equivalent of over a pound per gallon of blueberries, after being primary fermented in oak with Crooked Stave’s mixed culture of wild yeast and bacteria.
