The launch of Earth Rider Beer will be celebrated this week, Nov. 21-25, at the Cedar Lounge taproom.
Earth Rider will have five beers on tap for Launch Week: Precious Material (a German Helles lager), Earth Rider Pale Ale, Earth Rider IPA, North Tower Stout, and Apricrush Tart (a kettle-sour wheat ale with natural apricot).
Earth Rider is the first production brewery in Superior, WI since Northern Brewing Company ceased operations in 1967.
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating this milestone,” said Earth Rider founder Tim Nelson. “The brewery has been in planning and construction for two years. It feels good to finally be back doing what we love, brewing world-class beer for our community here in the Twin Ports.” 
Every night will include prize raffles, free Earth Rider gear, and live music including the Black-eyed Snakes, Kyle Ollah and String Band, Feeding Leroy, Woodblind and Jen West.
Cedar Sessions Volume 1 CD will be released on Wednesday night. Cedar Sessions Vol. 1 is a compilation of live recordings captured at the Cedar Lounge taproom over the past year and includes tracks by Charlie Parr, Black-eyed Snakes, The Boomchucks, The Brothers Burn Mountain, Rich Mattson and the Northstars, Woodblind, Two Many Banjos, Feeding Leroy and more. Proceeds from the sale of Cedar Sessions Volume 1 will benefit the Northern Lakes Food Bank.
