Buellton, California— Saturday, March 8, 2014 marked the opening of Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company’s third location. The tasting room at “The Cottage” features a comfortable place to meet friends for a beer or grab a growler of beer on the way home. Despite its smaller size, compared to the taprooms in Buellton and Santa Barbara, the tasting room’s debut in Los Olivos attracted many visitors and locals for the celebration. “We saw nearly as many guests at ‘The Cottage’ as we did for the opening of our Santa Barbara Taproom,” exclaims Vice-President Jim Dietenhofer. “Seeing our friends and fans come out in droves meant so much to us. We are very grateful for the community’s support.”
Meanwhile, Fig Mtn Brew’s Buellton Taproom expanded with a new second level including a second bar and mezzanine overlooking the brewing facilities. “The Buellton mezzanine is a great place for customers to enjoy a cold pint of beer while watching the brewers work below,” says Taproom Manager, David Esdaile. “The second bar upstairs allows guests more space for ordering or relaxing at the bar while watching a game or catching up with friends.”
Esdaile and team are looking forward to the opening of Beto’s Place in the Buellton Taproom this spring. Slated to open in May, the brand new restaurant will feature gourmet pub fare with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients.
