Good Nature Farm Brewery Turns Three
3rd Anniversary Party at the Good Nature Tap Room
Hamilton, NY December 30, 2014: Good Nature Farm Brewery & Tap Room celebrates its 3rd Anniversary this month. Good Nature, Madison County’s First Brewery in 200 Years, first opened its doors to the public on January 12, 2012 and has since experienced formidable growth and success. Just over a year after opening, in February 2013, Good Nature became NY State’s First Farm Brewery thereby formalizing their commitment to sourcing fresh, locally-grown hops and barley in their beers. A few short months later, in May 2013, the brewery opened a Tap Room in downtown Hamilton.
On January 17th, 2015 Good Nature will host a party at their Tap Room at 8 Broad Street in Hamilton to celebrate 3 years in business. The Good Nature Brewers are going all out for the occasion. All day long, the Tap Room will offer two special cask beers: an Oak-Aged American Brown Ale and their Solstice Oat Stout conditioned on vanilla bean and sour cherries. They will also stock their taps with and serve up flights of several rare brews in addition to their regular lineup. Rarities include “Wort is Bond #001,” a Sour Saison brewed in collaboration with Ithaca Beer Co., the “Raz-Bretty Porter,” Good Nature’s 2014 Barrel-Aged Sour release and, of course the 3-Year Anniversary Ale dubbed “Heavy Legs” a Scotch Ale fermented on deconstructed American White Oak Barrels. The Brewers won’t say for sure, but rumor has it that they may release a single batch of an original GNB favorite especially for the occasion.
As has become an annual tradition, Hamilton-based progressive folk-rock band Rabbit in the Rye will play the Tap Room stage from 9pm-12am. There is no cover charge for this event.
