Arizona’s longest brat, Arizona’s largest pretzel, sausage selfies, exotic brats & eating competitions top festival highlights

 Scottsdale, AZ (April 7, 2015)—It’s gonna be a total…Sausage Fest at Brat Haus on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from noon – 8 p.m. A celebration of brats, pretzels, beer and sausage themed games, Sausage Fest coincides with National Pretzel Day and will feature Arizona’s longest brat paired with Arizona’s largest pretzel. Brat Haus will create and grill a massive 80+ foot brat in celebration of Sausage Fest. Patrons can purchase a portion of the giant brat for $1 per inch, six inch minimum with 50% of the proceeds benefiting the ALS Association of Arizona.

Community partner, Yelp Phoenix will host a sausage selfie zone where fans can snap a picture and post it to their social pages using hashtags #BHSausageFest and #YelpPhoenix for a chance to win a $100 Brat Haus gift card and Yelp shwag.

Other activities include stein holding contests, sausage making demos, beer garden games, brat eating contests, pretzel toss and a cigar station. Ice cold craft beer from SanTan Brewing, Mike Hess Brewing, Krombacher and New Belgium will be available for purchase. Pair that with an abundance of pretzels, brats, a pig roast and various picked goodies. Local artists will be onsite as well including a glass blower, face painter, balloon artist and laser etching.

Presale general admission is $8 if purchased at Brat Haus and day of admission will be $10. Patrons can also purchase tickets online at www.brathausaz.com.
