The award winning MickDuff’s Brewing Company from Sandpoint, Idaho recently signed an exclusive agreement with the Odom Corporation to begin distribution to eastern Washington establishments. After opening in 2006 and sustaining annual growth, distribution was the logical step for this growing brewpub. In the fall of 2013, they started distribution slow by opening the north Idaho market and now they happily announce the inclusion of eastern Washington to their distribution reach.
“The Odom Corp has been great to work with and eastern Washington marks an important step in our move to enhance our distribution reach and continue to grow,” explained Head Brewer, Mickey Mahoney.
Through the Odom Corp, MickDuff’s beer can now be ordered in ½ BBL and 1/6th BBL kegs in Spokane, Wenatchee, Pullman, Clarkston, Omak, Walla Walla and Moses Lake, Washington. They also continue to serve and sale kegs to north Idaho customers as well. Their Idaho reach is as north as Bonners Ferry and then south to Coeur d’Alene, Moscow and Lewiston. Bottling or canning is not in the immediate future of the pub but Mahoney hasn’t ruled it out totally.
“We’re happy distributing kegs but with the growth of mobile canning, it could be an option sooner than later.”
For early 2014, Odom Corp is selling kegs of MickDuff’s Lake Paddler Pale Ale and NOHO, an American Style Pale Ale and American Style India Pale Ale respectively. MickDuff’s hopes to release the Knot Tree Porter before fall of 2014.
MickDuff’s Brewing Co. went through their first growth expansion in June of 2013; moved their 7 BBL brewery out of their pub, located on historic First Ave in Sandpoint, and into a 4,000 sq. foot space down the street. The expansion has them on course to hit the 1,000 BBLs brewed mark for the year of 2014. The Pub features pub food with flare, 11 beer taps and a 2 BBL pilot brewery.
“Growth is a large focus for us at the moment. We’ve pretty much stretched out our 7 BBL brewhouse and are hoping to transition into a bigger brewhouse before the year is over,” said Mahoney.

Lake Paddler Pale Ale is an American Pale Ale dry hopped with cascade hops to give it a floral aroma. It is mildly hoppy and bitter and named after the mythical Lake Pend Oreille monster.
NOHO is a really hoppy American India Pale Ale, dry hopped to really enhance the aroma of this beer. It is named after North Idaho by using the first letters of north and last two letters of Idaho.
