DENVER, CO— Thirsty Monk, brewer of Belgian-Rooted Modern Ales and operator of world-recognized craft beer and craft cocktail bars, will celebrate GABF® festivities with a series of special events throughout the week beginning Friday, September 14 through Friday, September 21.
On Friday, September 14, at 12pm the brewery will be releasing the debut beer of their Karma Series, a new quarterly effort to raise money for nonprofits, Trail Monk Fall IPA— a burnt orange IPA with maple syrup brewed to support the 14ers Initiative in Denver. The First 5 people to taste Trail Monk Fall IPA and post on Untappd® will receive a $10 gift card to Thirsty Monk and the next five people to post about the beer will receive a free pint glass.
The following Monday, September 17, Thirsty Monk will be offering free pint glasses with each purchase of their famous Pint of Bacon followed by Monk’s Guide to GABF® on Wednesday, September 19, beginning at 7pm during which the brewery staff will provide insight on how to survive and thrive the Great American Beer Festival®.
On Thursday, September 20, Thirsty Monk and Green Man Brewery will spend the day collaborating on a special brew. Then, at 5pm, the brewery will tap two special Green Man beers that have never been on draft in Colorado.
To close out the week on Friday, September 21, Thirsty Monk will be offering $1 off all of their signature, chef-inspired food flights designed to pair perfectly with select beers.
