WARRENTON, VA — On Saturday, August 10 from 12:00-10:00 pm Old Bust Head Brewing Company will celebrate its fifth anniversary at its taproom located in Vint Hill, Va.
This family-friendly event will feature new beer releases, local food trucks, live music, a baby goat petting zoo, and a dunk tank that gives guests the opportunity to dunk the brewers. Old Bust Head will also debut a new crowler seaming machine that will allow customers to take home freshly canned brews.
“When Charles, Julie, and I launched Old Bust Head five years ago, there were no other breweries in Fauquier County,” said Ike Broaddus, partner at Old Bust Head. He added, “That early head start helped us get a foot-hold in distribution and allowed us to develop a strong local following, from which we’ve benefited tremendously over the years as other breweries have entered the market. Growth is a little slower now that the field has become so crowded, but we are optimistic about the continued growth of OBH and of the Vint Hill community. We’re grateful to our hard-working team, many who have been with us since the beginning, and to the community who have been so supportive all of these years.”
Asked about future plans for Old Bust Head, Broaddus said, “We’ll continue to focus on creating exceptional beers, providing a welcoming taproom environment with friendly service, and being an integral part of the community we serve and hope to be doing this for many years to come.”
Established in 2014, Old Bust Head was the first brewery in Fauquier County. The brewing company produces and serves fine ales & lagers from its brewing facility and taproom located in historic Vint Hill and distributes throughout Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland.
