BeerAdvocate is proud to name the Los Angeles County Brewers Guild as the non-profit partner for its first Extreme Beer Fest® in Los Angeles on Saturday, December 9th, 2017. Regularly mentioned as one of the country’s best beer events, the one-day, two-session, fest will be held at the California Market Center and will feature some of the most creative, boundary pushing beers in the world.
So far, breweries from Brazil, California, Colorado, DC, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Sweden, Texas, Utah, and Virginia are planning to pour their inspired offerings at Extreme Beer Fest®: Los Angeles.
“As an Allied Member, we’re honored to work with the guild, support their members and goals, and to be a part of LA’s growing beer scene,” says Todd Alström, founder of BeerAdvocate. “Our 
fests focus on supporting independent brewers and educating attendees in a social environment. And since our first fest in 2003, we’ve put well over $2 million back into the industry by paying brewers for their craft.”

The first annual Extreme Beer Fest® was held in Boston on January 17, 2004, and its mission remains the same: Push the boundaries of brewing and raise a fist at the norm. And for the 10th year, Dogfish Head Craft Brewery will sponsor the event.
