Denver, CO – May 29th, 2014 – Today, tickets go on sale for Breckenridge Brewery’s 24th Anniversary Hootenanny. The Hootenanny celebration, taking place on Saturday, July 12th, is an all-inclusive street party at the Denver brewery – 471 Kalamath Street – which benefits local non-profit, Conscious Alliance. In addition to the annual pig roast, there will be two outdoor stages of live music, free brewery tours, and tastings of unique beers from Breckenridge Brewery’s pilot brewery and rare beer cellar.
The street party takes place in front of the brewery on an entire block of Kalamath between Fourth and Fifth avenues. Gates will open at 11:00 a.m., and music will ring between both stages until 7:00 p.m. This year’s all-Colorado music lineup features sets from Deadphish Orchestra, The Magic Beans, Kitchen Dwellers, Trout Steak Revival, The Colorado Goat Ropers Guild, and Marty Jones & The Great Unknowns.
This will be a notable gathering for craft beer fanatics. An array of specialty beers will be available at the celebration from both the pilot brewery out of Breckenridge, CO, and the brewery’s rare beer cellar. Unique firkins, one-offs, pilot batches, and limited releases will make up this remarkable lineup of offerings.
This year’s Hootenanny will be a very memorable experience, as it will be the last bash at the Kalamath Street brewery. This time next year, Breckenridge Brewery will be moved into their new brewing and production facility in Littleton, CO, slated to open in the spring of 2015. The Hootenanny will be the first celebration at the new brewery.
For a limited time, $24 tickets are available at BreckBrew.com/Hootenanny. Tickets are all-inclusive, with access to the full lineup of Breckenridge Brewery beers and a meal from the BBQ pig roast. $15 tickets are available for designated drivers and persons under 21 years of age, and include entrance to the Hootenanny and a meal from the pig roast. The brewery encourages public transit, taxis, walking, and biking. Bike racks will be available to lock up your ride.
