ORLANDO, FL — Dozens of area microbreweries will converge on the Seminole Harley Davidson from 1-5PM on Saturday, February 23rd to showcase some of the best craft beer Central Florida has to offer.
The Central Florida Brewer’s Guild Fest is different than your average beer festival because each participating brewery will offer rare or one-off beers. The festival is also capped at just 600 tickets so breweries won’t run out of product and patrons won’t have to wait in long lines.
“We hope the festival attendees have a chance to try beers they wouldn’t normally have readily available to them, while also getting the opportunity to chat with some of their favorite local brewers. We want everyone there to feel like a VIP!” says Charles Frizzell, President of the Central Florida Brewers Guild.
Another reason the Central Florida Brewer’s Guild Fest is so great? The proceeds of the event will benefit the Central Florida Brewer’s Guild. The guild is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in 2017 to help collaboration efforts in the rapidly growing craft beer industry, to promote local craft beer, and to facilitate the Central Florida Ale Trail. The Central Florida Brewer’s Guild also works with local charities to give back to the community. A portion of the festival proceeds will be donated to Bikers Against Trafficking.
Tickets to this event are $40 and include a cup, samples from forty local breweries, and live music by The Betty Ford Band. Parking for this event is free and there will be food available for purchase from five local food trucks. Because tickets are limited it is recommended that you purchase tickets to the Central Florida Brewer’s Fest in advance. Last year’s event sold out.
The Seminole Harley Davidson is located at 620 Hickman Circle in Sanford, FL. For more information and event updates find the Central Florida Brewer’s Guild on Facebook at @CentralFloridaBrewersGuild.
