Denver’s 4th Annual Collaboration Beer Fest Features More Than 100+ Unique Brews

Share Post

Denver – The fourth annual Collaboration Beer Fest returns to Denver on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. –  7:00 p.m. at the National Western Stock Show Complex (4655 Humboldt St., Denver CO 80216). Collaboration Fest is the headline event of Colorado Craft Beer Week, which runs March 18th – 25th.

“This year we have more than 100 unique collaborative beers from 154 breweries, 20 states and even Finland, Sweden, and Italy,” said Steve Kurowski, director of operations for the Colorado Brewers Guild. “Collaboration Fest has surpassed all expectations from when we first started talking about the idea of this beer festival. There is no other beer tasting event like this in the country.”

Collaboration Fest is a unique beer festival in that each beer is created specifically for this event. Colorado Brewers Guild members team up with breweries from near and far to create one-time-only beers, and share a story about how and why a certain beer is created. This festival was created by Two Parts and the Colorado Brewers Guild in 2014, as a way to give brewers the opportunity to brew a unique beer with another brewery.

Collaboration Fest showcases the collaborative nature of the craft beer industry. Each brewery choose who they want to work with, and what style of beer they want to make, allowing for the brewers’ imagination to run wild. Many of these beers will only be available at the festival.

“Someone once asked me what the best part of putting this festival together was, and, I’ve got one word for that: Collaboration,” said Tobias Krause, event manager at Two Parts. “Seeing two or more breweries come together to make one beer, for one special event is something unique, fun and enjoyable for the masses. Collaboration Fest is a pillar of what it means to be a part of the Colorado craft beer industry and celebrate our successes and dreams in a fun and inviting environment.”
