Buellton, California— Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company’s annual event, FigtoberFest, celebrates the traditional OktoberFest with an emphasis on craft beer. Held on Saturday, September 12, 2015, from noon to close, FigtoberFest will feature German food, festive music, FigtoberFest beer on draught, games, contests and more. The brewery will be hosting the event this year at all five of their taprooms: Santa Barbara, Buellton, Los Olivos, Santa Maria and Arroyo Grande.
Those looking for a deal can enjoy $5.00 FigtoberFest beer all day long. Brewed annually for the fall, this lager will be included in a special stein package available during the event. For only $10.00, guests can purchase a souvenir stein that will include a fill of FigtoberFest and extra beer with every pint purchase throughout the day.
“It seems like only yesterday we hosted our first FigtoberFest,” reminisces Vice-President Jim Dietenhofer. “We always enjoy hosting FigtoberFest because we get to celebrate our German roots with our friends. It’s a great excuse to throw a party after Labor Day.”
