One of the longest running beer festivals in the county, the Great Taste of The Midwest doesn’t just mean one awesome day of beer – but an entire week of fantastic craft beer events in the Great Taste Eve. In celebration of the Great Taste Eve, Door County Brewing Company has been hard at work brewing some special, small batch one of a kind beers for you.
For our first Great Taste Eve event, we will be taking over Ray’s Growler Gallery in Wauwatosa this Wednesday, August 6 at 6:30pm for a tasting with Head Brewer Danny McMahon. Door County Brewing will be serving up beers including our Coconut Milk Stout and Citra Pale Ale – in addition to those two limited releases Ray’s will also be debuting our Door County Grisette and Saison Savage.
“Surprise gems that you do not want to miss,” said marketing director and Gallery co-creator Kaleb Schweck. “Head Brewer Danny McMahon will take us on a tasting journey of one of the newest and hottest Wisconsin craft breweries. We are excited to share this brewery with our customers. Danny and his family are building a reputation for creating some of the most unique, off-tradition, Belgian inspired beers amongst craft breweries today.”
On Thursday, August 7 from 6-7pm, Door County Brewing Co. will be at Whole Foods Market in Milwaukee for their Beer Club event. Paired with specialty cheese samples, Door County Brewing Co. Head Brewer Danny McMahon will be sampling our brand new Gratzer, which is a Polish Style sour beer brewed with oak-smoked wheat.
For our final celebration of the Great Taste Eve we pull out all stops at Madison’s Star Bar on Friday. Beginning at 8pm and until close Danny will be sharing with the lucky our Brux Saison, Saison Nelson and a Svart Vinter in addition to our Citra Pale Ale, and Coconut Milk Stout.
Door County Brewing Company is located in Baileys Harbor, WI and is committed to creating thoughtfully handcrafted, heritage inspired beers.
