One of the premier beer festivals, Door County Brewing Company is incredibly excited to be part of 29th Annual Great Taste of The Midwest. A celebration of craft beer, The Great Taste of The Midwest is the second longest running beer festival in the country.
For this year’s fest we’re joining forces with Great Lakes Brewing, Karben4 Brewing, One Barrel Brewing, Sassy Cow Creamery & Trixie’s Liquor for our Great Taste of the Midwest ‘80s Beer Arcade. Featuring 23 beers, 15 tap lines, 8 special releases, 10 classic arcade machines, free popcorn, free beer flavored Ice Cream and a free fuzzy ’80s headband awarded to the truly rad! Stop by our tent anytime during the fest on Saturday, August 8 from 1-6pm.
SPECIAL RELEASE BEER SCHEDULE
1:00pm Door County Brewing: Wild Sour Blonde – 6% ABV. Lambic inspired American Wild Ale.
1:30pm Karben 4: Pineapple India Pale Ale – 5.8% ABV. Motueka hopped IPA.
2:00pm Great Lakes: Barrel-Aged Alberta Clipper – 8.3% ABV. Imperial Porter aged in oak whiskey barrels.
2:30pm One Barrel: Super Secret Sour #1
3:00pm Door County Brewing: Imperial Silurian Stout – 8.5% ABV. Brewed with Vanilla and cinnamon.
3:30pm Karben 4: West India Porter – 8.4% ABV. Hop-forward porter featuring Amarillo hops.
4:00pm One Barrel: Super Secret Sour #2
3:30pm Great Lakes: Barrel-Aged Blackout Stout – 9.5% ABV. Imperial Stout aged in oak bourbon barrels.
SASSY COW ICE CREAM SCHEDULE
2:00pm One Barrel: “Care Bear Blood” imperial coffee stout ice cream with chocolate flakes.
3:00pm Great Lakes: Imperial Porter brewed with dark chocolate and fermented with fresh raspberries served over vanilla ice cream.
4:00pm Karben 4: Fantasy factory ice cream with mango and pineapple pieces and mini chocolate chips.
5:00pm Door County Brewing: Bearded Giant IPA with toffee pieces.
